Rachel-Beth Carrington, UK Messaggio : I have stayed at the Hotel Mariano 6 times now and all have been most enjoyable! The hotel staff are friendly, polite and helpful and the rooms clean & comfortable with the sort of amenities you expect from a 3 star hotel. The breakfast is of a good standard and better than your average comparable hotel in my opinion. The location is perfect for seeing all areas of the city and I would recommend this hotel to any first-time visitor to the city. Great value for money and the restaurant next door is highly recommended too for good value Cucina Romana! Not only have I recommended the hotel to family and friends but I have brought them here: plus my whole department of staff for a Team Trip in 2005! They all enjoyed it as much as I have done and I look forward to seeing Antonio, Luciano and the rest of the staff again very soon!

Unknow Messaggio : Quite noisy with open windows and traffic outside . Building work also being carried out on hotel. It is a cheap place to stay within walking distance of monuments and very close to train, underground and bus station. Very friendly staff

" Great location, less than 5 mins from main train/metro/Bus termini. Only a few blocks from tourist office, St. Mary and St. Prasede. 20 minutes walk to Colosseum. Nice clean room, with excellent air con (it was 38 degrees celsius while we were there so that helped !!!) The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the area. We loved it!" "Excellent hotel, nicely furnished, staff very friendly & helpful .The rooms were large, all seem to have double beds and were well appointed and clean.The air conditioning was not noisy at all. Breakfast was exactly what you'd expect in a continental hotel, cereals, rolls, ham, cheese, choice of juice and very good coffee. The location was also great, we found we could walk everywhere. Pick up from airport was excellent as a first time visitor to Rome.I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Mariano again."

Very polite and helpfull staff ... The hotel was even better than expected. A great value. ...Conveniantley located next to the train station, the hotel offers very clean, classy
rooms at a reasonable price. If you are on a budget and want a great stay in Rome,
Hotel Mariano is a great choice.

A pleasant hotel with polite, attentive staff. The rooms are spacious with a nice bathroom and modest accessories. Beds are comfy, decor is Roman and the chequered floor and bathroom walls has to be seen. Staff are jolly. Location, although not quiet due to being in the hustle and bustle of central Rome, is handily located for public transport and has a nice piazza opposite. Only down side would be the breakfast - lets just say, if you were French, you wouldn't approve of the croissants!

would recommend good value for money the only thing missing was tea making facilities in the room. Very convenient to Termini and shopping

Day time manager, Luciano, was a huge help to us throughout our stay in Rome. I was very impressed by the attitude of the staff and the ambience of the hotel. It also has an excellent location that should be highlighted more on the website perhaps.
